As the end of my 11th year in business approached, I knew there had to be a change. Although it had been an incredible 11-year run, the company had reached a plateau. I knew there had to be more, but I wasn’t quite sure how to find it.

In addition to my uncertainty of how to reach the next level, I had also become a hostage to my business. I was unable to take a vacation because the day-to-day operations business could not run without me. Mistakenly, I felt there was a correlation between time spent at the office and success. It was at this point that Janice Drescher became my business coach, and my world—both personally and professionally—turned around. Not only did I learn how to build a business that works, I learned how to get things done through other people. With Janice’s coaching, I became a true leader and built a company that serves my life. I am thrilled to be writing this letter of reference about Janice Drescher!  Janice, as my business coach and mentor, has changed the way I approach things in my business and personal life.  I have been working with her for about 10 years.  Her coaching has become a vital part of my business operations.  She has helped me fill in the blanks of the missing pieces I have needed to excel in my business.  I can truly say that, over the last 10 years, my sales have increased ten times the amount they were when I began with Janice.

Her contribution was invaluable.  Once the homepage was approved by me, I shared it with industry associates to get their feedback.  Heads turned, and I was so proud!  Again, I could not have done this without Janice at my side.  This project was bigger than I was, and through her coaching, I was able to approach it with full confidence.

I got a call today from one of my consultants who told me how excited he was about the things we are doing here at PPS. He thanked me for the strides we have made over the last year. Specifically, he said, "Thank you for being such a great leader". That blew me away. He told me that he knew I had put my heart in it and now we are seeing the results. Funny, I am so immersed in working on the business, I hadn't really stopped to notice. I have to tell you, that call, and someone thanking me, was probably the greatest call I have ever gotten. So, this message is to thank YOU for giving me the guidance, the tools and the support to make all of this happen (and I am nowhere near done).

There is an old Kenny Rogers song called "When You Put Your Heart In it". I think that would be an appropriate theme song for our next company meeting.
